The Senior Project of Hernando County was founded to address the growing isolation felt by seniors and veterans in our community. Many are forgotten, living alone, or without family nearby.
Through gift bags, personal visits, and community events, we bring moments of joy and dignity to those who have given so much.
Every gift bag delivered carries dignity, remembrance, and the message that someone cares.
A Message from Our Founder
Dear Friends and Supporters,
The Senior Project of Hernando County was born from a simple but profound observation: too many of our seniors and veterans are invisible to the world around them. They live in assisted facilities or on the streets, days passing without a single visit or kind word.
Every gift bag we deliver is more than supplies — it is a declaration that someone sees them, values them, and remembers them. The look in their eyes when they receive a bag is something that never gets old.
We are a small but mighty team of volunteers and donors who believe that no senior should walk alone. I am grateful for every person who has joined this mission, and I invite you to be part of the change our community needs.
